Stoney Point: This popular sandstone climbing area has multiple sections perfect for boulderers, and the area is filled with technical routes. Stoney Point is located just north of Los Angeles and is good for year-round climbing.
Malibu Creek State Park: Full of volcanic rock, Malibu Creek State Park has a few easy routes, which include bouldering and overhung sections. If you are new, try Toddler Terrace with an array of low angle climbs.
Echo Cliffs: Located in the Santa Monica Mountains near Westlake Village, Echo Cliffs has more than 150 climbing sections with several long, steep routes for advanced climbers.
Horse Flats: Located near Three Points, Horse Flats has approximately 50 climbing sections on granite boulders in a remote, untraveled location.
